A physical handheld remote for Gledopto WLED controllers. Provides dedicated on/off, brightness, four scene preset buttons, and a night light mode — all without opening the WLED app or invoking a voice assistant. Pairs directly to the WLED device over your local WiFi network.
This is not a 2.4GHz RF remote and not a Zigbee remote. It communicates over WiFi, which means it requires the WLED device to be on the same local network. No hub, no pairing ritual, no cloud. Up to 50m range with anti-interference performance suited to dense residential WiFi environments.
Compatible with Gledopto WLED controllers only: GL-C-010WL, GL-C-015WL, GL-C-015WL-D, GL-C-016WL-D. It is not compatible with Zigbee controllers (GL-C-201P, GL-C-002P) or with third-party WLED devices.

Scene preset buttons map to WLED presets by number. Configure your preferred effects, palettes, and colours as presets in the WLED interface, then assign them to preset slots 1–4.
Compatibility
The GL-RC-001WL is designed for Gledopto's own WLED product line. It communicates via WiFi using a protocol specific to Gledopto WLED devices — it is not a generic WLED controller and will not pair with third-party WLED hardware.

FAQ
Does this work with my Zigbee controller?
No. The GL-RC-001WL communicates over WiFi and is only compatible with Gledopto WLED products. It will not control the GL-C-201P, GL-C-002P, or any other Zigbee device. For physical control of a Zigbee controller, pair a Gledopto 2.4GHz RF remote directly to the Zigbee controller using the RF pairing button.
Do I need a hub?
No. The remote communicates directly with the WLED controller over your local WiFi network. No Zigbee hub, no bridge, and no cloud service is required.
What batteries does it take?
2× AAA batteries, not included. 3V DC operating voltage. Standard alkaline AAA cells are sufficient — rechargeable AAA cells also work at their rated voltage (typically 1.2V each = 2.4V combined, which may reduce range slightly).
Can I assign my own effects to the four scene buttons?
Yes. The four scene buttons trigger WLED preset slots 1–4. In the WLED interface, save any effect, palette, colour, and brightness configuration as a preset numbered 1 through 4. The corresponding button on the remote will activate it instantly.
