SMLIGHT SLZB-MR3U Multi-Radio Zigbee + Thread Ethernet PoE Coordinator

Buy on Shopee →Overview
The flagship. Two independent 2.4GHz radios in one network-attached unit, so you can run a Zigbee coordinator and a Thread border router at the same time, or operate two separate Zigbee networks from a single device. Built for advanced Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT and Matter / Thread infrastructures.
Each radio carries its own external antenna, with an ESP32 core for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Runs the unified SLZB-OS firmware — a clean local web UI, MQTT, OTA updates, standalone Zigbee Hub Mode and Berry scripting. Fully local, no cloud account required.
Two Radios, One Device
Radio one is the Texas Instruments CC2674P10. Radio two is the Silicon Labs EFR32MG24. Each carries its own external antenna, so both networks run concurrently without contention. Segregate a noisy device estate, separate Zigbee from Thread, or build redundancy — all over one Ethernet drop.
Why Ethernet and PoE
100Mbps Ethernet places the coordinator far from server and rack interference for a clean, stable mesh. PoE 48 support delivers data and power over a single cable to a high, central mounting point.

Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT and ZHA Compatibility
Both radios attach to Zigbee2MQTT and ZHA as network (TCP) adapters. A common configuration runs one radio as a Zigbee coordinator and the second as an OpenThread Border Router for Matter-over-Thread devices — or two isolated Zigbee networks, for example a separate mesh for noisy or chatty devices.
USB Passthrough Mode exposes a separate plugged-in USB radio — for example a Z-Wave stick — to your controller over the LAN, so a single mounting point can serve three protocols at once.

FAQ
Can I run Zigbee and Thread at the same time?
Yes. That is the point of the MR3U — two independent radios on two antennas. Run a Zigbee coordinator and a Thread border router concurrently, with no contention between them.
Can I run two separate Zigbee networks?
Yes. Assign each radio its own Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA instance to segregate a large or noisy device estate, or to build redundancy.
Do I still need a USB stick?
No. Both radios connect to Home Assistant over your LAN as network adapters. Nothing plugs into the server.
