Overview

The next-generation Gledopto Zigbee PRO+ 5-in-1 controller. Retains the same five-mode flexibility as the GL-C-201P: RGBCCT, RGBW, RGB, CCT, and single-colour dimmer, while adding three new hardware features that directly address field serviceability and installation flexibility.

First: a pluggable 20A Mini 297 blade fuse. Replace the fuse in seconds, not the controller, no wiring changes required. Second: a Type-C USB power input port (5V/3A, USB wall adapter only, this is a power port, not a UART or debug interface). Third: support for DC 5V in addition to 12V and 24V, making the GL-C-601P compatible with short 5V addressable strip runs where constant-voltage supply is appropriate.

Key differences from the GL-C-201P: the GL-C-601P is rated 15A total output (10A per channel) versus 20A total on the 201P; it accepts DC 5–24V input versus 12–24V; and it includes the pluggable fuse and Type-C power port. For high-current cove lighting runs at 12V or 24V where maximum amperage is the priority, the GL-C-201P remains the better choice.

Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT Compatibility

The GL-C-601P is natively supported in Zigbee2MQTT and ZHA (Zigbee Home Automation) with no custom converter or configuration required. It pairs automatically on any Zigbee 3.0 coordinator and appears in the Zigbee2MQTT device database under Gledopto.

In Home Assistant, the controller exposes as a standard light entity with full colour, colour temperature, and brightness control. OTA firmware updates are delivered directly via the Zigbee2MQTT UI, no physical access to the controller required.

Compatible hubs and ecosystems: Home Assistant (Zigbee2MQTT / ZHA) · Philips Hue Bridge · Apple Home (via Matter/Zigbee bridge) · Tuya SmartLife · Amazon Alexa (Zigbee hub required)

A Zigbee 3.0 coordinator is required and not included. Local Singapore stock: SMLIGHT SLZB-06MU (PoE + USB + Ethernet, EFR32MG21) and SLZB-06P7U (PoE + USB + Ethernet, CC2652P7).

Wiring: RGBCCT LED Strip (5-channel)

The terminal block provides one power input pair (V+/V−) and five output channels. For a standard 5-pin RGBCCT LED strip:

TerminalConnect to
V+ (input)PSU positive (5V, 12V, or 24V DC)
V− (input)PSU negative / ground
RStrip red wire
GStrip green wire
BStrip blue wire
W1 / CWStrip cool white wire
W2 / WWStrip warm white wire

DC 5V–24V constant voltage. At 5V with WS2812B-compatible constant-voltage strips, you may use the Type-C USB power input for the controller itself and route strip power separately from a dedicated 5V PSU. Do not exceed 15A total or 10A per channel.

FAQ

What is the difference between GL-C-601P and GL-C-201P?

The GL-C-201P is rated 20A total output and accepts DC 12–24V input only. The GL-C-601P is rated 15A total (10A per channel) but accepts DC 5–24V, and adds a field-replaceable pluggable blade fuse and a Type-C USB power input port. Choose the GL-C-201P for high-current cove lighting runs at 12–24V where maximum amperage matters; choose the GL-C-601P for 5V installations or any setup where the field-replaceable fuse is a priority.

Is the Type-C port for flashing firmware?

No. It is a power input port only: 5V USB wall adapter, maximum 3A. It is not a UART or debug port and cannot be used for firmware updates.

Does this require a hub?

Yes, a Zigbee 3.0 coordinator is required for smart control (e.g. Philips Hue Bridge, SMLIGHT SLZB-06MU, SMLIGHT SLZB-06P7U). For hub-free physical control, pair a Gledopto 2.4GHz RF remote (sold separately) directly to the controller, up to 8 zones supported.
